Life Lately

Hi friends! 💓

As Summer comes to a close in Minnesota, it's time to let you know what's been going on around here lately.  

Garrett and Maci found their wedding venue!  They are tying the knot at a mansion in Burleson, TX. April can't get here soon enough!!

Speaking of Garrett, my crazy man-child shaved his head a few weeks ago.  

What???  

This kid!!  I should've know something was up when he wanted to FaceTime us!! 😊

And.......he got a new car!!  He is completely stoked about this beauty!!

Delanie has had a busy month too.  

Brandi and Kevin took her to New York City for her Senior trip....

She passed her driving test!

She moved into the dorm....

And she got a new car too!

Jim and I made our annual trek north to spend a week at Maddens.

The week we got back, Jim surprised me with a new coffee table.  

Y'all.....this is no ordinary coffee table!  Our neighbor refinishes Nutting carts and Jim bought one for me!!  I've had my eye on this one forever and now it's in my living room.  💚

We nicknamed it "Frankenstein" because it's a mash up of a few carts.  It is the perfect kind of vintage -- a little beat up & chewed up.....dang, this sucker is GORGEOUS!!!

Jim has a new tech-y tool.  He had the "Ring" doorbell installed so we could see who is at the door when we aren't home.  Let's be honest, we use it when we ARE home too.  😏  It has a live feed of your front door and sends you alerts if there is motion on the front porch.

In August, I took a class at Wonderfully Made in August.  Isn't this mason jar centerpiece adorable?!

Also in August, I hosted a Friend-terest party!  It was soooo fun!!

On September 1st , I started a #100DayChallenge.  Each day for 100 whopping days, I will create art and share it via social media.  I made the sweetest little notebook to store it all in.

OK, subject change......unlike Jim, I don't drink coffee.  My caffeine boost each morning comes from soda.  And because I have the sweeeeetest husband in the world, this is what I woke up too one morning last week.  💛

And what would a life lately post be without a picture of Jim sleeping???  

Poor guy, he's never safe from my camera.  😉
