It's Fall, Y'all!!

Fall has come come to our neck of the woods.  Crisp air, pumpkin spice lattes, honeycrisp apples fresh from the orchard and gorgeous colors.......I love this time of year!  It's really too bad it doesn't last longer. 

 

 

As beautiful as these photos are, they don't do the actual views justice.  I must look like a madman driving down the street because I always pull over and just gawk!  :)

 

It's super windy today so I'm afraid that the leaves won't last long.  I look around me and see all the leaves that have already fallen.  How incredible to go out with such a bang! :)

 

Being smack in the middle of one of God's most beautiful masterpieces will definitely make you a little awe-struck.  We get to enjoy a few more days and then it's time to bundle up again for a few months. 

 

We already have a frost warning in the forecast for next week.  Time to pull out the sweaters and boots.  That's ok, it's just as beautiful when it snows.  Now I'm off to enjoy the front porch while the weather holds!  :)

Delanie has to be the luckiest kid on the planet!  Last month she met the members of her favorite band, All Time Low.  This past weekend she got to meet another favorite......Cassadee Pope. 

 

Cassadee Pope is a recent winner of a TV show called The Voice.  She currently has a song on country radio called "Wasting all these tears on you".  She held a mini-concert at the Mall of America this weekend after Delanie and a few others met her.  Delanie now has another celebrity autograph to add to her collection.  :)

Happy Birthday, Garrett!!

 

My baby boy is turned nineteen this weekend! :)  He's now a college freshman, as handsome as ever and has the world by a string.  Happy birthday, my sweet Garrett.  I'm so proud to be your momma!

Chik-fil-a has finally come to Minnesota!! :)  This is my favorite fast-food chain ever.  Yesterday was the grand opening and I am not at all embarrassed to say that I have eaten their every day it's been open. 

 

 

All Time Low

Delanie got the once-in-a-lifetime chance to meet her favorite band this week!! Garrett turned Delanie on to the band All Time Low several years ago. Since then, she's been hooked! :)

 

 

The group played a show in Minneapolis this week.  Before the concert, they stopped by the Electric Fetus record store to sign a few autographs.  Guess who was #4 in line???  Delanie was over the moon!  Check out her Instagram post below.  I love the caption!
