Our furry backyard friends have started to multiply. Spring in Minnesota is so fun because we get to watch the new goslins grow. We have three or four families of geese that frequent our backyard/pond. They travel in packs.......Momma, Daddy and babies. :)
The Momma and Daddy geese are super protective of their little ones. Standing at our back door, we have seen several brawls between the families! If the Daddy goose thinks someone is getting too close to his babies, he puts his head down and goes after them. Delanie saw one Daddy goose go after another family's baby goose. He bit the baby on the tail to make him move. Daddy wasn't messing around!! :)
