Our sweet Maci surprised Garrett with a visit this weekend! OMG....you should have seen his face....he was so surprised!!! For someone who is usually so calm and happy, he saw Maci and lost it!! :)
Poor Maci flew "standby" and it literally took her all day to get to Minnesota. Jim had flown in from a business trip to Phoenix on Friday so we made up a white lie and told Garrett that he had to return to the airport for lost luggage. Finally....at 11pm....the chicken was in the coop.
Garrett, thinking he was in trouble, came downstairs and POW!!! There was the love of his life. Bless his heart, he didn't know whether to laugh or cry.....so he did BOTH. Delanie & I cried right along with him. :)
Now - together after a long two month separation - they aren't letting each other go for awhile. Maci was supposed to fly back home today but decided to stay until Wednesday so she could be with her honey on his birthday. It's been a great week in the Richardson household!
